    I was at the exhibit tonight at the Visitors' Center and fell in love with each of your pieces. I especially like the Five That Were Wise--I mean, why should we show the 5 that weren't so wise?
    You do a wonderful job of honoring women in your works--women of valor.

    I was at the opening exhibit tonight at the Visitors' Center and fell in love with each of your pieces. I especially enjoy The Five That Were Wise--I feel you honor virtuous young women with this painting, and give a hope for continued, valiant living.

    Dear Shannon,

    I am glad that you enjoyed the exhibition. Thank you so much for the kind remarks. I guess I do predominately paint women mostly because I paint through that lens as a woman. (I only feel qualified to make a commentary on those things out of my own experience as a woman, a mother, a Mormon, and my images are mostly metaphorical.)

    Your art is awesome. I definite see a Minerva Teichert influence (which is a big compliment because she rocks). Now I can mention you to my other LDS friends. Your figures are very realistic and your art is masterful.
